A 55 year old Cherokee County woman was recently arrested in northwest Georgia on DUI and drug charges.
Martha Jo Clay of Centre, after reportedly failing to maintain a single lane – was pulled over by Floyd County Police at the intersection of Shorter Avenue and Coosawattee Avenue, then placed under arrest on charges of DUI, and Unlawful Possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Substance.
According to the jail report, police officers found suspected Trazodone and Tramadol inside her vehicle and when tests were administered, she appeared “lethargic” and “confused”.
She was released on bond Saturday.
