At around 2:00am Friday – Gaylesville, Cedar Bluff and Centre firefighters were dispatched to a location on County Road 199 off County Road 51, just north of Cedar Bluff – following a report of a structure fire. Units arrived to find a mobile home already fully involved – and the home was considered a total loss.
Fortunately, the occupants were able to exit the structure safely – and no one was injured.
In addition to firefighters, the Cedar Bluff Police Department and Floyd EMS responded.
It’s unclear at this time what caused the blaze.
