JACKSONVILLE – The Cherokee County Lady Warriors couldn’t recover from a tough loss in the first set against White Plains in the Class 4A, Area 9 volleyball tournament at Jacksonville on Wednesday. Their season came to an end with a 24-26, 13-25, 22-25 setback.
AK Reyes posted 11 digs and had a kill. Madison Leonard added six digs. Sarai Ray contributed eight digs and six assists. Ella Garmany collected eight digs, seven kills and a block.

White Plains went on to be swept by Jacksonville in the tournament final. Cherokee County’s season ends at 6-21.
