Emergency crews were called to the scene of an overturned 18 wheeler occurring at the Highway 273/Highway 35 intersection just after 10:00 Monday night.
Initial reports indicated that the driver may have possibly been trapped. The Broomtown Fire Department, Rescue Squad personnel, Floyd EMS and Alabama State Troopers responded to the scene.
Crews remained in scene for several hours cleaning up the wreckage.
