Thankfully there were no injuries when a vehicle rear-ended a DeKalb County school bus on Highway 68 West near County Road 1 just inside Cherokee County on Tuesday morning. The bus was en-route to Collinsville School. 

Sand Rock’s School Resource Officer Deputy Brandon Harris was among the first on the scene and reported that no one in either vehicle was injured. Students were loaded onto a second bus and taken to school. 

The Leesburg Fire Department in addition to Collinsville Police and Alabama State Troopers responded to the scene.
