Susie Ann Conkle, age 93 of Fort Payne, passed away Monday, September 21st at her residence, surrounded by her beloved family.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, September 25th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro.

Steve Clanton and Bro. Jimmy Dan Clanton officiating; burial will follow in Tucker’s Chapel  Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 until 2:00 PM Friday, at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 67 years, R.L. Conkle; son, Neal (Tammy) Conkle; daughter, Stephanie (Edwin) Wills; sister, Ruth (Ralph) Brewster; grandchildren, Charles (Stephanie) Conkle, Alan (Heather) Conkle, Zack (Megan) Wills and Amelia (Jody) Yancey all of the Dogtown community.

She was the daughter of the late William Perry and Dellie Martha Abernathy Jones and was a member of Daniel’s Chapel Church.
