The varsity football game between Sand Rock and Collinsville scheduled for Friday night has been cancelled, according to a post on the Collinsville High School Facebook page.
The game will NOT be rescheduled. Collinsville School was notified by Cherokee County School officials that a number of players were unavailable to compete in Friday’s game.
Per AHSAA rules, Collinsville will be credited with a victory via forfeit for the contest.
Collinsville officials will look to find a replacement opponent, however as of now, the Panthers are scheduled to return to play on Friday, October 9 against Plainview.
