Floyd County authorities are actively searching for a suspect or suspects in connection with an incident occurring over the weekend that left two people critically injured.

A Sunday night shooting on Hardy Avenue in Rome resulted in two people – one female and one male – being shot.  According to Assistant Chief Debbie Burnett, as of Monday evening – both victims were listed in critical condition.

The Criminal Investigations Division is still actively working on leads and tips.
