Marshall County Investigators have arrested Joshua Adkins, the estranged husband of Sheri Jeanee Adkins – whose body was found on August 5th, off Columbus City Road near Grant. Law enforcement officials executed a search warrant of Adkins home on Thursday morning on Bob Wallace drive in Huntsville – where he was taken into custody without incident.
He is currently being held in the Marshall County Jail; no bond has been set at this time.
Agencies assisting in the investigation included the State Fire Marshal, the Huntsville Police Department Crime Investigation Division, SWAT, and Crime Scene Division – along with the Madison County Sheriff’s Office.
