Jimmy Jake Ford, Jr.

Jimmy Jake Ford, Jr., age 35 of Sand Rock, passed away Friday, July 24th.

Funeral services will be 1:PM Friday, July 31st at Sand Rock Baptist Church, with Rev. Scott Hosey and Rev. Ross VanPelt officiating; burial will follow in Sand Rock Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8:PM Thursday, July 30th at the church.

Pallbearers include Greg Oliver, Blake Johnson, Colton Harris, Clint Bradley, Bryan Dorsett, Teddy Whitmire, Cary Simpson, Ian Sinclair. Honorary Pallbearers will be Cherokee Electric Coop Crew.

Survivors include son, Cash Daniel Larson-Ford of Gadsden; daughter, Paisley Brooke Ford of Sand Rock; his chosen children, Pakeley and Piper Davis; parents, Jimmy and Jennie Ford of Sand Rock; grandfather, Olen Ford; sisters, Jessica (Dain) Davis, Jacklyn (Josh) Miller; nephews, Ian Sinclair, Aydan Sinclair, Jackson Miller, Carson Miller, Walker Davis, Ryker Dean Sinclair, Josh Tyler Miller, Drake Davis; the girl that held his heart, Sagan Stiefel; host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and heartbroken women all over the world.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Robert and Lela Gladden, Mary Dan Ford.

Jake was a native of Cherokee County, he worked for Cherokee Electric Coop and was a member of Sand Rock Baptist Church.

Memorials may be made to the family for the Jake Ford Scholarship Fund or the family will accept flowers.
