A Cherokee County (Alabama) woman was recently placed under arrest on drug charges in northwest Georgia.
Jenny Marie Harvey, 37 of Centre, was pulled over by Cave Spring police over the weekend, after she was observed crossing a yellow double line close to the intersection of Park Street and Cedartown Street.
The stop was initiated around 1:15am Saturday.
According to a Floyd County jail report – a bag of meth was discovered in the floor board of Harvey’s vehicle, and a small quantity of meth was later found on her at the jail. She stands charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, the possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute and crossing a guard line with drugs.
She is also charged with a misdemeanor for possession of drug related objects and failing to maintain a single lane.
