Cherokee County Resident Arrested on Drug Charge in Floyd County

A traffic stop led to a Cherokee County (Alabama) resident being jailed on drug charges in Floyd County late last week.

According to the Rome News Tribune – Floyd County Jail reports indicated that 33 year old Centre resident Tiffany Lane Motes was pulled over before midnight Thursday on an access highway and was allegedly found to have methamphetamine and a meth pipe along with an open alcoholic beverage in her possession.

She was charged with felony Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance – along with misdemeanor counts of Possession of Drug Related Objects and Open Container violation in addition to a Stopping/Standing/Parking Prohibited violation.

Her bond was set at $10,100.
