A Cherokee County (Alabama) man was recently placed under arrest on drug charges – at a fast food restaurant in northwest Georgia.
According to Floyd County Jail records – 32 year old John Edward Myers of Gaylesville, was arrested at McDonald’s on Turner McCall Boulevard, on meth possession and DUI charges – after allegedly driving on state highways under the influence of drugs.
When he was pulled over by a Rome Police Officer, they allegedly found meth in his vehicle, as as well as a glass pipe.
He was jailed earlier in the week under a $5,700 blanket bond.
