One individual was injured in a two-vehicle mishap taking place mid-afternoon Thursday in Cherokee County. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report listed the injured party as being a male resident of Piedmont, who was driving a 2000 Ford – meanwhile, the driver of the other vehicle, a 1999 Ford, listed as a male resident of Ft Payne, was unhurt.
That collision, which occurred at approximately 3:30pm on County Road 16, remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
