Amy Michelle Pruett, age 49 of Centre, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2020.

Family will receive friends at Calcedonia Baptist Church on Tuesday, June 23th from 2 to 4 pm. A private funeral Service will follow at 4pm at Calcedonia. Burial will be in the adjoining Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Chris Cothran, Dusty Cothran, Chad Brown, Chris Brown, Tim Grace, Lewis Grace, Bill Jordan, Scott Pruitt, Ben Fowler, Brandon Fowler, and Drew Gossett. Honorary pallbearers include Austin Pruett, Walker Pruett, Olin Pruitt, Conner Wilson, Parker Wilson, Nicklaus Cothran, Ross Spears, Griffith Spears, Peyton Rogers, and Will Rogers.

Survivors include children, Jonothan Wooten, Katie Wooten, and Karlie Yeadon; as well as two grandchildren; Xander Haggard and Xane Haggard, parents; Johnny and Sandra Pruett, brother; Craig “Bubba” (Lisa) Pruett, a sister; Lori Pruitt, several nieces and nephews; Austin and Walker Pruett, Olin and Molly Pruitt, and Kylie McMichen, and grandmother; Venessa Doegg.

She was preceded in death by grandparents, Billy and Martha Pruett, and grandfather, Wendell Doegg.

She was born and raised in Cherokee County, and attended Cherokee County High School. She was a child of God and a member of Calcedonia Baptist Church. Amy was a loving daughter, mother, sister, and grandmother. She was known to many as Mammie, and loved by everyone who knew her. Amy was self-employed in residential cleaning.
