One person was injured in a four-vehicle accident taking place Sunday afternoon in Etowah County.

That mishap, which took place just after 1:30pm on U.S. 431 involved a 2008 Chevrolet that was being driven by a female resident of Centre – a 2000 Chevrolet being driven by a male resident of Boaz, a 2017 Chevrolet driven by a female resident of Crossville, and a 2013 Kia being driven by a female resident of Boaz – who was the only person hurt in the accident.

No additional information was immediately available regarding the extent of her injuries.

That accident remains under investigation by troopers.
