Wednesday saw three individuals being arrested on controlled substances locally.

Barry David Agan, age 31 of Leesburg; James Paul Fox, 27, also of Leesburg; and 38 year old Ft Payne resident Jeremy Collins Brown, were each arrested and charged with the Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Brown was additionally charged with Failure to Appear on a prior Insurance Violation, and Fox was also charged with Failure to Appear on a previous Probation Revocation.

Agan was booked into jail just after 12:00 noon and released approximately two hours later after posting bail of $3,000 – Brown was booked in at around 9:00 that night, Fox was jailed just after 7:00.

Both remain in the Cherokee County Detention Center, with bond set at $3,265 for Brown – and $3,000 for Fox.
