(WASHINGTON) — Over 40,000 pounds of ground beef are being recalled over possible E. coli contamination. The U.S. Department of Agriculture warns the possibly tainted raw ground beef products were produced by Lakeside Refrigerated Services in New Jersey on June 1, and were shipped to locations nationwide.

The recalled products have the establishment number 46841 inside the USDA mark of inspection.

The USDA advises customers who have purchased the meat products not to consume them.

As of this weekend there were no confirmed cases of people sickened by the ground beef.
