Spring Garden VFD Cancels Annual BBQ Sale Due to COVID-19 Pandemic / Donations Still Being Accepted

On Thursday, The Spring Garden Volunteer Fire Department announced the cancellation of their annual BBQ, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, Fire Chief Butch Jacobs would like to let everyone know that the department will still be accepting donations. 

The loss of revenue from the cancelled BBQ sale means other avenues of fundraising will be needed, and any amount you can donate to the department will be greatly appreciated – as they face equipment upgrades and other costs associated with keeping the people of Spring Garden and surrounding areas safe when a fire breaks out.  Proper equipment is essential to the safety of the department’s firefighters, as they provide service to the community around the clock.
