The body of the victim who drowned earlier in the week at the Little River Canyon National Preserve was recovered Thursday morning – Park Public Information Officer Matt Switzer tells us more:

The name of the victim has yet to be released.
Officer Switzer said the Park was indeed open at the time the tragedy occurred, however he stressed the dangers of swimming in the swift currents:
We’re expecting to receive an official statement from Little River Canyon National Preserve, either late today or early tomorrow (Thursday or Friday).
