An arrest has been made in connection with a fatal accident occurring just over two months ago which resulted in the death of a twenty-two-year-old Chattooga County woman. That crash took place on Sunday, March 15th on Highway 27 near the Pennville Church of Christ at Greeson Street; both vehicles involved in the accident received extensive damage.  County Coroner Earl Rainwater confirmed the accident took the life of Haley Brianna Smith of Summerville.

Over the weekend, twenty-year-old Caitlin Elizabeth Milam was arrested and charged with homicide by vehicle and other charges.
