A Piedmont man was fatally injured in an accident involving an ATV and an automobile late Wednesday in Etowah County.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency – the incident took place on U.S. 278 at around 8:35pm, when a 2007 Chevrolet being driven by a Piedmont woman struck the ATV fatally injuring the rider.
No additional information is currently available and the wreck remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
