The Cherokee County Board of Education has announced a date for Graduation for ALL High Schools in Cherokee County.
Superintendent of Education Mitchell Guice announced that the date will be Thursday, May 21 at 8:00 p.m., each school will hold ceremonies at their respective football stadiums.
There will only be a limited number of person(s) allowed to attend, each graduate will only be allowed five tickets for family members per graduate. Guice said under the circumstances, there is not a “Best Time” for everyone.
He said right now Cherokee County has one of the lowest incidence rates of the COVID-19. He said that might change if we wait until a June or July date and he did not want to deprive the 2020 Graduating Class the opportunity to have the Ceremony they rightfully deserve.
CONGRATULATIONS TO THE CLASS OF 2020!!!
