One person was hurt in a single-vehicle accident on Highway 411 south of Leesburg around 10:45 Friday morning. According to witnesses the vehicle involved appeared to hydroplane during heavy rain – causing the driver to lose control, veer off the right-side of the road and strike a tree.
That accident took place approximately a mile from Garrett Tire, with Leesburg firefighters and Alabama State Troopers responding.
