Over the weekend, Cherokee County saw a large influx in recreational boaters and fisherman as most all of the state dock locations were filled with boats, jet skis, and trucks and trailers.
For the business sector this equates to added revenue to an economy that has been bruised by the recent COVID-19 Pandemic.
We had an opportunity to sit down with Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce Director Theresa Hulgan via video conference – she talked about some upcoming fishing tournaments, the state of the local business sector and the importance of shopping local.
