WEIS Radio encourages all motorists to exercise caution this (Thursday) morning, as heavy rainfall and high winds coming through the area earlier left a number of trees down across area roadways – specifically we’ve had reports of trees across the roadway on County Road 9 near County Road 31 – two trees in the roadway on Highway 278 near County Road 111 – and a tree blocking the road on County Road 56 before the Georgia line.

Be especially cautious on lesser traveled back roads.

Everyone should slow down and watch for water standing in the roads as well.
