(WBRC) – A standoff in Calhoun County ended with the man surrendering to the sheriff.
According to the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department, the man was holding his wife and kids hostage at first, but let them go.
The suspect also fired a round at deputies.
He hit a truck where one of the deputies was taking cover.
The standoff ended when the suspect was talked out of the house.
