Almost 100 Confirmed COVID-19 Deaths in Alabama; Just Under 600 Hospitalized Up to This Point

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the state has now reached 4,456 – with a total of 96 confirmed deaths resulting from the illness.

According to the Alabama Department of Public Health – there are currently 142 reported deaths in Alabama – with 46 of those remaining under investigation.  594 people have been hospitalized and the number tested stands at 37.848.

Cherokee County now has 11 confirmed cases out of 86 tested meanwhile in DeKalb County there have been 306 tested with 32 positive results; following 605 being tested in Etowah County there are 87 confirmed cases and Calhoun County now has 63 confirmed cases after a total of 588 people being tested.
