The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the state has now reached 4,241 – with a total of 75 confirmed deaths resulting from the illness.
According to the Alabama Department of Public Health – there are currently 123 reported deaths in Alabama – with 48 of those remaining under investigation. 524 people have been hospitalized and the number tested stands at 34,077
Cherokee County now has 10 confirmed cases out of 77 tested meanwhile in DeKalb County there have been 273 tested with 31 positive results; following 545 being tested in Etowah County there are 84 confirmed cases and Calhoun County now has 62 confirmed cases after a total of 505 people being tested.
