COVID-19 Cases in Alabama Passes the 3,500 Mark; Nine Confirmed Cases in Cherokee County

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the state has now reached 3,583 – with a total of 61 confirmed deaths resulting from the illness – according to the Alabama Department of Public Health.  There are currently 93 reported deaths in Alabama with 32 remaining under investigation. 437 people have been hospitalized and the number tested stands at 20,605.

Cherokee County has 9 confirmed cases out of 65 tested meanwhile in DeKalb County there have been 207 tested with 26 positive results; following 404 being tested in Etowah County there are 77 confirmed cases there and Calhoun County now has 60 confirmed cases after a total of 237 people being tested.
