The body discovered in a creek in the Coosa area of Floyd County last Sunday (March 29th), has now been identified as a 36 year old man described as a “transient”.
Kenneth Grover Sprayberry, originally from Kingston was reportedly last seen alive around two weeks prior to being found in the creek, According to Floyd County Coroner Gene Proctor, he wasn’t carrying any ID when found.
Due to the state of decomposition when found, it’s believed that Sprayberry had been in the water anywhere between five and ten days. The case remains under investigation.
