WRGA NEWS| A 911 call was received on Sunday, March 29th from a land owner in the Coosa area who discovered a body in a creek on his property.
According to information given by the Floyd County Coroner’s Office, The body recovered was a man: seemingly in his mid 30’s, with no ID on his person.
The coroner’s office determined that the man’s body had been in the creek for sometime between 5 to 10 days: due to decomposition, the body was unidentified.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has stepped in to perform an autopsy.
