Georgia State Patrol Fires Entire Cadet Class in Wake of Cheating Scandal

The Georgia State Patrol has fired an entire cadet class following a cheating scandal which involving on-line testing.

Georgia Public Safety Commissioner Mark McDonough said Wednesday all 30 cadets in that 106th State Trooper Class admitted to cheating in an on-line radar instruction course.  The cadets allegedly helped each other pass the test – with the help of at least one civilian – after two of the cadets failed the test earlier.  The cadets allegedly circulated the answers to the test between themselves and Googled answers for the exam.

The GSP says the cadets had written around 133 traffic citations since graduating in August and those citations may have to be thrown out of court.

All 30 cadets were fired after being suspended during the investigation.
