Wanda Adrian Hammett

Wanda Adrian Hammett age 81 of Leesburg passed away Wednesday January 22nd at her residence.

Funeral services will be 1 PM Friday January 24th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wiley Bailey officiating, burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11 AM until 1 PM Friday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers include Garland Cox, LeBron Fannin, Tim Hays, Bernie Kimmons, Steven Kimmons, Billy Lumsden, Brian Mackey and Dennis Mackey. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Byram, Haney Camp and Darrell LaRoy. In memory of Honorary pallbearers, Edward Mackey, Jack Mackey, Newman Mackey, Harvel Anderson and Jack Tillery.

Survivors include aunts, Martha (Donald) Battles of Sand Rock and Dorothy (Mike) Chambers of Mobile; host of cousins; special caregivers, Bernie and Shelia Kimmons.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hammett.

Mrs. Hammett was a native of Cherokee County and the daughter of the late Franklin Roscoe and Ethel Mae Bailey Adrian. She was a member of Cedar Hill Methodist Church where she played the piano and she was a clerk for the City of Leesburg. She was retired from the Farm Service Agency in Centre.
