Champions were crowned in the 2020 edition of the Cherokee County Basketball Tournament at the Cherokee Arena on Saturday night.

In Girls action the Spring Garden Lady Panthers took home the gold basketball trophy with a 58-51 win over the Sand Rock Lady Wildcats. Ace Austin for the Lady Panthers with 16 points, Kayley Kirk with 15 points and Neely Welsh finished the night with 12 points.

For the Lady Wildcats Caley Garrett netted 11 points, Lanie Henderson had 9 points and
Maci Brown added 8 points.

In the Boys Championship it was the Sand Rock Wildcats capturing the victory by defeating Spring Garden 64-49.

Garyn Sharpe posted 27 points on the night for Sand Rock and Jacob St. Clair had 14 points.

For Spring Garden Weston Kirk led the way with 19 points while Cooper Austin added 11 points.
