A two-vehicle accident involving an SUV and a City of Centre Water Department Chevrolet pickup occurred shortly before 12:00 noon Thursday.
That collision occurred at the intersection of West Main and South Pratt, causing damage to the tailgate and rear bumper of the Water Department truck and major damage to the front of the SUV.
Centre Police and Fire units responded to the scene; we’ll have additional information once the accident report has been completed.
