A Cherokee County man is lodged in the Floyd County Jail – charged with Child Molestation.
According to jail records, Damian Christopher Ingram, age 27 of a County Road 199 address in Cedar Bluff, was arrested Tuesday and charged with felony Aggravated Child Molestation and a misdemeanor count of Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.
He also reportedly had warrants for felony Strong Arm Rape and a Probation Violation.
According to the warrant, the victim was injured during the incident – which allegedly took place in Floyd County on January 3rd; he is also accused of giving the girl marijuana prior to the alleged rape.
