A Summerville teen was booked into the Floyd County Jail late last week on a strong-arm rape charge.
According to Floyd County Jail records, 17-year old William Evan Bowman raped a woman at a location in the 500 block of Broad Street.
The incident occurred just before 11 p.m. on December 14, according to the report.
