A Heflin pair was placed under arrest on controlled substance charges Tuesday morning in Cherokee County.

Orby Junior Brimer, age 46, and Kristan Bell Gann, age 34, were charged with two counts of Unlawful Possession of a Uncontrolled Substance and one count of the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Both were booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center shortly before 11:00am with bond being set at ,500 for each.
