Two people including a small child were taken to Floyd Medical Center following a single vehicle accident on County Road 7 near County Road 5 in Leesburg just before noon on Saturday.
The vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. Leesburg Firefighters, Floyd EMS, Sheriff Office deputies and Alabama State Troopers responded to the scene. No information was immediately made available regarding the extent of those injured.
