No injuries were reported after a car struck a horse on Highway 273 near County Road 47 on Wednesday night.
The Tucker’s Chapel Fire Chief initially notified 911 of two horses in the road at the location and then immediately advised dispatchers that a vehicle had struck one of them.
Tucker’s Chapel firefighters and Cherokee County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene.
