Units of the Sand Rock, Centre, Leesburg, Collinsville and Tucker’s Chapel Fire Departments all responded to a house fire off of County Road 36 Thursday night.
According to Sand Rock Fire Chief Cody Biggs that call went out at 7:53pm and those first to arrive on the scene found the structure already fully involved in flames – fortunately, family members were able to exit the home safely.
The home was located at 55 White Oak Avenue in Sand Rock.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
