The Georgia Department of Transportation reports that a construction company employee was struck by a truck hauling material to a work site on Turner McCall Boulevard in Rome on Monday morning.
The employee was working on re-paving the road when the accident happened.
According to Joe Schulman the District Six Communications Officer for the Georgia DOT, the extent of the employee’s injuries were unknown as of Monday afternoon.
