We had reports of an accident involving an 18 wheeler and a passenger car occurring on the Chestnut Bypass near Sand Valley Road just before 3:30 on Tuesday afternoon.
Early reports indicated that no one was injured in the mishap. The Centre Police and Fire Departments, Rescue Squad personnel and Cherokee County EMA personnel were all on scene.
