2019 Christmas For Kids Campaign A Great Success

Through the work of several community organizations, including many of Cherokee County’s First Responders, the Christmas Toys For Kids event on Saturday was a huge success raising over $2200 and hundreds of toys to make sure children in need in Cherokee County have a great Christmas.

Event Organizer Tammy Amos with Grace Point Reach Out Ministries said that she would like to say Thank you to Walmart for their continued support and to Floyd EMS, Centre, Spring Creek, Gaylesville, Leesburg, Tucker’s Chapel and Cedar Bluff Fire Departments for their much appreciated support.

Applications are still being accepted for assistance, all you have to do is stop by the Grace Point Church of God any Wednesday between 5:15 and 6:00 p.m. and fill out the necessary paper work. The final deadline is December, 11th.

Amos says donations that can still be dropped off at the Centre Fire Department or City Hall. Monetary donations can be mailed to Grace Pointe COG Christmas for Kids, PO Box 460, Centre.
