A two-vehicle wreck in Floyd County, Georgia resulted in multiple injuries Friday morning.

The collision closed the southbound lanes of Martha Berry Boulevard in front of the Harbin Clinic for a little over 30 minutes.  The mishap occurred just before 9:00 when a PT Cruiser collided with a Jeep Liberty. The Jeep overturned onto its side.

The occupants of the Jeep were transported to the hospital. The extent of their injuries is not known as police conduct their follow-up investigation.  However, both occupants were conscious and alert, according to scanner traffic.

No other injuries were reported
