Chamber of Commerce Holds Ribbon-Cutting for Kentucky Fried Chicken, 1925 West Main Street in Centre

The secret recipe is back!

Fans of the Colonel’s eleven herbs and spices can rejoice – Kentucky Fried Chicken is open at 125 West Main Street in Centre, directly across from Walmart.  On Wednesday morning the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce held their official ribbon-cutting ceremony: Centre Mayor Tony Wilkie introduced KFC owners and members of the management team to those gathered in the packed lobby.

Following that ribbon-cutting, WEIS Radio News spoke with owner Bill Byrd, who gave us a brief rundown on the story behind KFC’s long-overdue, and highly-anticipated return to the area:

 

The Centre location is open 10:00 – 10:00 seven days a week.

Mayor Wilkie told WEIS Radio during the previous day’s ribbon-cutting event at the all new Tractor Supply location on the Chesnut Bypass, that a lot of new things were in store for the City of Centre, and he wanted to add something to that:
