Rome Woman Turns Herself in on Felony Warrant Related to Stabbing Incident

A 20 year old Rome woman turned herself in at the Floyd County Jail Monday morning for a stabbing incident occurring back on November 25th.

According to a felony warrant charging Misty Dawn Carroll with Aggravated Assault, on the date in question she stabbed another woman with a kitchen knife during an altercation and inflicted a puncture wound below the victim’s left armpit measuring one-inch long and one-and-a-quarter-inch deep.

The incident occurred at Carroll’s Dodd Boulevard apartment.
