JOSEPH A. “SONNY” GILL, age 79 of Centre, passed away Thursday, November 28th at Floyd Medical Center.

Survivors include his wife, Glenda Matthews Gill; daughters, Sonda (David) Mullinax of Rock Run, Christie (Tommy) Lewis of Rock Run; daughter-in-law, Heather Gill of Centre; brothers, Jerry Gill of Lindale, GA, Travis Gill Of Centre, Alan Gill of Centre, Don Gill of Centre; sisters, Joan Rosser of Centre, Glenda Faye Godfrey of Cave Spring, Peggy Lambert of Centre, Sherry Lambert of Centre; grandchildren, Tara & Matt Mullinax Tristan Lewis Case and several nieces. He was preceded in death by a son, Joey Gill; brother, Gary Gill and a sister, Doris Waddell.

Mr. Gill was a native of Georgia, and was the son of the late Joseph Arthur and Christine Twilley Gill.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
