Four people were arrested on controlled substance charges in Cherokee County Tuesday.
John Thomas King, age 37 of Collinsville and Janet Leighann Wigley, 42 of Cedar Bliff, were both arrested during the early morning hours and charged with the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, two counts of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree.
King was additionally charged with Attempting to Elude.
They were both booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center between 3:00 and 3:30 that morning where they currently remain with bond for King being set at $5,500 and bond for Wigley set at $4,000.
Just before 10:00 that night 51 year old Chadwick Wade Rochester of Leesburg was booked into jail on a long list of charges including Trafficking Illegal Drugs, the Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Bond Revocation, and Attempting to Elude – in addition to Failure to Appear on the previous charges of Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Pistol not Allowed in Possession of Certain Persons.
He remains in the Cherokee County Detention Center with bond set at $4,575 according to the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office website.
And Caryeon Jan Sprayberry, age 34 of Cedar Bluff was booked into jail just after 11:00pm, charged with two counts of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and one count of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She remains in the Cherokee County Detention Center with bond set at $5,500.
